How to play the latest songs added on your Ipod? (Playing sort by added date?)?

I try to figure out how to play the latest songs I uploaded on my Ipod, like sorting the playlist by date. Thx.

1. If they have been uploaded from itunes then there is an option to listen to "recently purchased" if you have added the songs from a CD, then I am not sure! Good luck
2. hi nilsvb! maybe try to make a new "smart playlist": 1. open itunes 2. click the "file" menu, then click "new smart playlist" 3. now use the drop-down menus to define the playlist rule as follows: - "date added" - "is in the last" - "2" - "weeks" - then check the "live updating" checkbox 4. click the "ok" button and then name the new playlist "Recently Added" then make sure u r syncing all playlists to ur ipod: - open itunes then plug ur ipod into ur computer - itunes displays a special ipod screen - on the Summary tab of this screen, make sure the check next to "manage music and videos manually" is *NOT* checked. - now click on the Music tab of this screen, and make sure the "Sync music" checkbox is checked, and the "All songs and playlists" is selected. now resync ur ipod and u should have the new "recently added" playlist on ur ipod! once this is working for u, please please subscribe to my FREE video podcast on iTunes: http://phobos.apple.com/WebObjects/MZStore.woa/wa/viewPodcast?id=183309259 xo, Betty http://www.averagebetty.com
3. The best thing to do is make a Smart Playlist on to the iPod... and make it so that all the songs are ordered by the most recently added... thats it or put your new songs on a playlist on to the iPod but other than that... the iPod doesnt order the songs by date added... it only does Alphabetical Order... sorry its the best I could do
4. Alright, in Itunes, go to the drop-down menu entitle "view", and click "view options", or just press Control J. Then check the box containing date added. Make sure you are in your library, because this modification will only affect that specific place. (i.e. if you click "date added" while in a playlist, it will only sort that playlist.) If you already have done this, scroll to the left, and click the rectangle with the text "Date Added" and it should sort it for you. If you see the the songs you added first instead of most recently, click it again.
