How do I get my video camera to import videos to Windows Movie Maker?
It is acknowledging that the camera is connected and I can control the camera from the import screen. The problem is it isn't showing the video I'm capturing on the computer while I'm capturing it, then saying there is an error in capturing the video. I have capture videos on here before and I don't know what's wrong with it.

- There could be a number of reasons. It would be useful to know what camcorder you are using and what platform XP or Vista you are using. I am guessing that you have a tape based sytem and that it is digital. It sounds like it may be a hardware issue and that your pc may not be powerful enough to record the video. (I had a similar problem with an older PC). All you can really do is see about re-installing drivers for the camcorder. You might also try Ulead Video Studio (not free but has lower resource demands and tends to be easy to use when getting the video on the pc).
