What images are you legally allowed to use to create layouts? I want to create layouts with bands or celebrities for myspace, but I'm not sure which images that I can legally use. I read some on "fair use" but I couldn't find anything pertaining to what I need. I just want to use images and edit them to create layouts or wallpapers. I'm not talking about images that someone has already edited by adding different effects or words on it or personal pictures someone took at a concert. I just want to use pictures of the bands or their logo to create my own image. I have no problem giving credit to the website that I find the image, but I don't know if that's enough. How many photographers are using photoshop to clean up their images? I'm 24 and have a budding interest in photography. Right now I have to use the equipment I have. Anyway, I have looked online at professional photographers work (often they are younger than me) and I notice the color pops out a little to much or everything looks just a little to clean.
